Michael Rosen promoted at 'Early Show'

Named executive producer of Saturday program

CBS News has promoted Michael Rosen to executive producer of the Saturday "Early Show."

Rosen has been and will continue to be senior broadcast producer of the weekday edition. He joined "The Early Show" and CBS in September 2005 as a senior producer.

Before that, he had worked at College Sports Television, CNN, ABC News and Sport magazine in the 1980s. He was senior producer for special events at ABC News from 2000-03, Northeast bureau chief from 1996-2000 and chief writer and producer at ABC Sports from 1986-91.
