ABC and PBS top Creative Arts Emmys
June 14, 2008 ABC and PBS tied for a total of 10 honors each Friday night at the Creative Arts & Entertainment Emmy Awards for daytime TV, with "One Life to Live" taking home four trophies and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and Food Network's "Everyday Italian" receiving three apiece. Friday night's event, held at Manhattan's Time Warner Center, comes a week before the June 20 of the 35th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards, airing live on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. The awards handed out Friday were mostly producing and crafts awards, although ABC's "Good Morning America" won in the category of best morning program and "Jeopardy" host Alex Trebek got the game-show host nod.
